Guarding & Patrolling
NuGen Security provides a range of guarding services that can be tailored to suit.
Our security officers will endeavour to protect our clients, their employees and their property from any unauthorised persons entering, the outbreak of crime and disorder and to prevent the destruction and damage of property.
NuGen officers will provide a visual deterrent, as will our protected site notice boards that we place around every site or area, making people aware that NuGen Security is protecting that site or area.

All officers are trained to deal with emergencies such as: the outbreak of fire, evacuation procedures, terrorist and first aid incidents.
In addition to dealing with everyday situations such as: customer complaints, detection of crime, apprehending offenders, liaising and working with authorities. All of our security staff are trained in accordance with the Security Industry Authority.

Visits to the customers property by uniformed security officers at random or agreed times, day or night.
Offering the customer with daily site visit reports via our electronic security tour system, giving the customer timings on when visits were made and also reports of any incidents and or suspicious activity.
Lockdown & Unlocking Service
This service can be used for various reasons but predominantly for when its deemed unsafe for our customers to allow their members of staff to perform their duties in a safe environment.
Our frontline security team will perform a clearance patrol of any building before a lockdown commences.
Our team will again ensure all entrances and exits to the customers property are clear from any obstructions namely persons or waste material.
Key Holding
We hold keys for both residential and commercial properties, we can hold keys securely in case someone loses the keys to the property and needs to gain access.
If a key is lost, NuGen Security will attend the property within an agreed time to either sign over the spare set of keys or to unlock the property.

NuGen Security have found that good communication before and on the day of an event to be one of the most important factors in the smooth running of any event, we can work alongside your events management team from the very start to ensure communication and ensure that procedures and policies are adhered to.

Our Door Supervisors are smart, professional, friendly and welcoming. The main objectives we ask from our staff on the doors are to prevent crime and disorder, provide excellent customer service and to protect persons and properties.
Some of their roles and responsibilities include:
Checking persons identification as proof of age.
No persons are drunk or under the influence of illegal drugs.
Ensure fire regulations are adhered to by checking exits and routes.
All Door Supervisors are trained to the standards set out by the S.I.A. (Security Industry Authority)

Reporting to Door Supervisors
Stewards can be placed next to barriers in front of staging areas to ensure nobody crosses or jumps over barriers, they will also endeavour to prevent any person from being crushed by the crowd.
Stewards can be used to patrol an event internally and externally checking on the welfare of all persons attending, also checking the integrity of the building including fire exits/routes, windows and facilities.
They are also there to provide customer service to persons attending the event and help with any enquiries they may have.
Traffic Management – Traffic Control
Traffic Control is so important when it comes to an event, the safety of people walking or driving to and from the event is the responsibility of the event organisers.
We can help and advise you of where to place signs, cones and traffic control staff this will ensure people are walking in the safe areas provided and vehicles do not stop at the side of roads congesting traffic.
Risk Management – Risk Assessments
NuGen Security perform two types of Risk Assessments:
Essential Risk Assessment
Full Risk Assessment
Our risk assessments will work with other risk management procedures, policies and assessments put in place by the event organisers.
An Essential Risk Assessment is performed by NuGen Security pre-event to establish procedures and facilities are in place i.e. drinking water and toilets, first aid, fire exits & escape routes, emergency procedures and services access. This assessment is a pre-event assessment, but our staff will continually assess the identified and unidentified risks throughout the course of the event in order to eliminate or minimise risks.
A Full Risk Assessment is performed to assess all areas of risk, everything from an overloaded electrical socket to an terrorist attack, we will work together alongside the event organisers to assess every possible risk before and during an event.

Our system design process, Self Design or Professional Design.
Self Design - completed by the customer, if you know exactly what you want and how to
protect your property, areas and entry points to ensure an intrusion is detected, this may be the option for you.
Professional Design - ensure your property has the correct technology being used in the right
(highly recommended) places and ensure all areas and entry points are covered by. In a nutshell, our Professional Designing means that we will look at where an intruder could possibly enter your property and ensure that the intruder will be detected.
Professional Installation & Programming
Our fully qualified and insured, professional team of engineers will ensure all of your products, devices and the system as a whole, are installed correctly as per the customers chosen system design. Your expert engineer will also guide you through how to use your system, and control it via your devices and Apps.

System Maintenance
Product & System
We have the ability to monitor alarm events, diagnose potential faults and view the entire electrical status of the system. We have two types of maintenance,
Remote Maintenance - Our remote programming and diagnostics software allows us remote access to the alarm control panel, with the ability to monitor alarm events, diagnose potential faults and view the entire electrical status of the system. If alterations are needed, there is
no need to send an engineer out for an onsite visit.
Onsite Maintenance - Our intruder alarms are complex and professional systems. These systems must be serviced on a regular basis in order to maintain the effectiveness and your level of
protection. Onsite maintenance involves a 6 monthly service of a whole system, changing
batteries, checking mains power supply and rectifying or identifying any faulty /
damaged products.

Monitoring & Response
24hr Alarm Monitoring
NSI Gold Accredited ARC
Our Monitoring operates an NSI Gold CAT II Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), using the latest technologies for the monitoring of alarms Intruder, Fire, CCTV systems, vehicles and lone workers/vulnerable people.
The accreditations for the ARC also include NSI Gold Approved Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC), Thatcham Approved CAT5/NSI Gold Systems Operating Centre (SOC) and NSI Gold BS 8484 Lone Worker Monitoring Centre. Available on selected plans.

Our own SIA Security Officers are on hand and ready to respond quickly to our Intruder Alarms upon receiving a confirmed intrusion detection from our customers active security systems.
We only respond to NuGen Security intrusion systems within our areas of operations, leaving our response officers dedicated to providing a quick and effective service.
